Eye in the Storm

You know that girl who can stand in the middle of chaos and still look completely put together? Everyone wishes they were that girl. And, you know what the best thing about her is? It is likely that in reality she is dealing with just as much drama, issues, and bullshit as the rest of us! She has just found a way to rise above and live her best possible life no matter what might be trying to hold her back. Get dressed knowing that you have the potential to be as much of a bad-ass modern superhero as she does! Accessorize with the confidence to look your best even if you're going through the worst or even to embrace the darkness but still walk with confidence and grace.

What do you think of this design?  What images and thoughts does it conjure up in you and how does it help show the world who you are?  Add to the conversation by commenting below.

This is a bright vision of chaos, but nothing in it suggests that the girl in the middle has it together. The fact that the objects are covering her suggests the opposite.

This one looks like a 1980s album cover.
I wish I could expand further, but that’s really as deep as it goes.
I would say that each time I scrolled through the pictures I stopped and stared at it.

The colors in this work together very well. The contrast between the butterfly and the fear in the woman’s eye is striking. The exaggerated eyelashes have an interesting effect, suggesting an awareness of the issues of superficiality and/or conformity to gender roles and what these things might imply. There’s too much use of space filling tricks, which if minimized could improve the image.

I like this one. It doesn’t seem pop culture to me. To me, it shows how even the people who are totally made up can sometimes be a complete mess underneath. The butterfly, the huge eyelashes… all of it is about someone who is trying way too hard. Sometimes I think we’re all this girl.

This kind of screams “Urban Outfitters t-shirt” to me. The pouty model, the abstract shapes and colors, and the butterfly are all what you’d expect from a moody, artsy teenager trying to express her soul.
