You Keep It on the Inside

You are a chameleon, someone who blends in and flexes with life. "You keep it on the inside because that is the safest place to hide." This design created by Naia Jozame is inspired by that moment when you are feeling your worst so you make yourself look your best. Make-up can be like war paint, allowing you to go on and face a tough world with strength and poise. But, remember who that person is underneath and that those who really care about you will want to see your most true and pure self.

What do you think of this design?  What images and thoughts does it conjure up in you and how does it help show the world who you are?  Add to the conversation by commenting below.

I don’t know about war pain. I think maybe someone has been somebody’s understudy for too long and is going to have to go get a real job soon. The eyes and face are painted well enough that it would be nice if it wasn’t half covered up with that kind of partially translucent mask. The image is nice though, it would be better without the text.

This is absolutely about war pain. I’ve felt like this before. You don’t want to go out and be seen, but you have to, so the best option you have is to make yourself up so nobody can see what’s really going on underneath. Sometimes makeup is less about appealing to other people and more about protecting yourself.
